Hi, my name is Del Layton & I must say, that I feel honoured to be a Professional Clinical Hypnotherapist & Counsellor and to be able offer a service that really helps people change their lives. Clinical Hypnotherapy is by no means "magic", & I'm certainly no "magician", but in my work at times, it certainly seems as though "magic" happens!

It never ceases to amaze me, how many applications there are for success with Clinical Hypnotherapy. People seek help from me for weight issues, giving up smoking, pain management, depression, anxiety, medical or dental procedure fears, phobias, habits, addictions, childbirth & all sorts of personal issues. I feel a great sense of personal satisfaction & happiness when I see a person change a problem or difficulty they may have been struggling with for years.

As the first Clinical Hypnotherapist registered & endorsed by the International Medical & Dental Hypnotherapy Association to practice in an Australian Hospital back in 1997, I opened up an interest in a modality which until quite recently, has been what I believe to be a neglected part of medicine ... the link between the human mind & the human body. My creed is "wellness begins in the mind". I now offer a consultancy service to the general public, as well as patients of doctors & other allied health professionals. At last, medical practitioners are beginning to see & understand the validity of the link between mind & body.

My private practice is in the beautiful "Hills" District, about 35-40 minutes North-West of Sydney in Baulkham Hills. I see clients with a range of problems or disorders & witness Clinical Hypnotherapy helping people in so many different & varied ways.

I also have visitation privileges for in-patients at the nearby Hills Private Hospital on Windsor Rd, Baulkham Hills. Many of my clients have seen me for childbirth preparation & have subsequently successfully delivered at the Hospital's Birthing Centre.
